Contract employee for Shield for Families, a non-profit that provides interships and clinical supervision for social work graduate students. Conducted weekly group supervision for seven students and weekly individual supervision for MSW students from USC and UCLA. Supervision oversaw the students' work with diverse populatios, low SES individuals, substance abusing clients, children affected by abuse and neglect, school based intervention, and grief/loss issues.

Many families were referred due to problems with domestic violence, alcohol or drug abuse, homelessness, and mental illness that placed young children at risk. Conducted home visits, monitored child safety, detained children when in imminent risk, counseled and supported families in crisis, linked families to resources, and collaborated with service providers in the community.
